We are trying to import polynomial algorithm to Splunk Cloud Trail version. in the Splunk documentation we found the steps to import it but we are unable to figure how to apply that to the Cloud. Please let us know if anyone has done it

I am not sure about the trial version, but I know that in the full Splunk Cloud, customers cannot install apps without coordinating with the Cloud Support Team. Since Splunk is making some contractual guarantees about uptime/performance, the use of apps is pretty carefully managed for the customers.

If you want to play around with the apps, the easiest way is to create a small Splunk Enterprise trial instance. There you can load any apps that you like for testing.
