Is the index data structure unique to Splunk? While it looks like an inverted index, I'm not sure if the name of the algorithm is mentioned in the docs. For example, we know the index data structure in RDBMS is B-tree. What is Splunk index called?

Splunk developed their own proprietary method and structure.
