I am having a storage server and have created a CIFS filesystem on that which is mounted to a Windows server on which Splunk enterprise is installed.
But i am not able to integrate my CIFS filesystem with the splunk.
How can i monitor my CIFS filesystem or syslog of my storage server through splunk? or do we have any splunk app through which i can integrate my storage server with SPLUNK enterprise?

If you have logs on a CIFs storage, you can mount it on a instance that has splunk and create an input to monitor this folder (as a local folder) .

I'm not sure what you're looking for - some clarification would be helpful.
Are you looking to:
- Monitor the storage system itself to ensure that it's working correctly?
- Have Splunk use the storage system to store some or all of its indexes?
- Monitor Windows' use of that storage system regarding the amount of space being used?
Those three questions would each have a different answer.
