HI Jay welcome to Splunk Answers!

If you have a new Splunk installation I recommend that you reach out to your sales rep for assistance on setting it up. If you do not have a sales rep strongly recommend you take the time to go through the search tutorial here: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/SearchTutorial/WelcometotheSearchTutorial It will take you a few hours but it will be time wisely spent.

Once you've been through the tutorial you'll more than likely be able to answer your own question, but if not, post some sample data and exlain what you would like your statistics table to look like and peopole here will be more than happy to assist you in developing your query

Happy Splunking!
