Getting error "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:8000" in Splunk Free 6.3.2. How do I re-connect?

My trial Splunk license release 6.3.2 started around 1/13/2016, and expired on 3/13/2016. I converted to free on 3/14/16. Everything worked fine. Last use was 4/20/16.

Then life took me away from my Splunk explorations. Now I'm back, I tried to use Splunk Free today, but get message "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:8000." Please help me fix this so I can get back on-track.

Thanks.

Bill P.
