Getting Data In

Converting local apps into deployment apps, will forwarders start sending data that has already been indexed?

I have a handful of forwarders which have locally-configured apps on them, and I want to start converting those into deployment apps to streamline the management/update process. Creating the deployment apps is straightforward enough, but my question is about the data itself. When I remove the local apps and start pushing them from the deployment server, will the forwarders start sending data that has already been indexed? Just trying to see if I'm going to end up with duplicate data on my indexer.

If the monitor stanzas are the same, the files will not be reindexed, even though the inputs.conf is now in a different place in the directory tree.
