Getting Data In

Cannot perform action POST without a target name to act on

I am trying to simply add the .spl file for the Cloud credentials to my heavy forwarder and I am getting the below message.

This is a syntax issue. To update the spl, use this syntax from the bin folder "./splunk install app /tmp/splunkclouduf.spl -update 1", enter your admin creds and then restart the splunk daemon.

This is true, i kept on getting this error and when i looked at the command i was trying to run more closely, i found there was indeed a syntax error!
