Can you help us add a device to Splunk Mobile?

Hey everybody,

We want to use Splunk Mobile in our company. We installed "Splunk Cloud Gateway" and added to "Registered Devices", "Splunk Mobile". That works.

Now we want to add a mobile device. But when we give Splunk the code from the mobile device, nothing happens, absolutely nothing. Splunk does not react in any way.

Can someone help us?

Two things to check:

  • Is the KVStore working?
  • Then check the internal logs index="_internal" (sourcetype=cloudgateway_app_internal_log OR sourcetype="splunk_app_cloudgateway_message_processor.log")

Hi Christian,

we had a similar problem. It was based on missing proxy configurations in server.conf. The Add-on need these proxy settings instead of splunk-launch.conf.
