Dear Splunk (employees, or support team who takes care of these tasks),
I was on a client project and required to register a new splunk.com user for support ticket purposes.
registered around 4 or 5 days ago. no response yet.
on the registration page it says:
You're just our source type, but we need some extra time to finish setting up your account.
If you have not received an email confirming your Splunk registration within 24 hours, please call +1-855-775-8657 and select option 2 to get your account ready to go. We’ll get you back on track in no time!
instead of a US phone number, an email id would be better, isnt.
outside US people, calling an US number is an international call and its almost impossible to make nowadays.

If it helps there are a bunch of local numbers to get in touch with support at https://www.splunk.com/en_us/about-splunk/contact-us.html#customer-support - They basically route to the same support number but are just local geographic numbers.

Called the Indian support number, but it looks like a wrong number. gods must be crazy !
