Deployment Architecture

splunk list deploy-clients question

We have been seeing strangeness with this command. It should show us all the clients that have contacted the deployment server. Yet, we frequently see servers missing from the list when using this command, that do show up correctly in the Deployment Monitor.

Has anyone else experienced this, or can explain this?

Thanks

I see the same pattern where I don't have the same number of clients between this command and the forwarder management web console.

Bump on this question. Today, I see a server when I rn splunk list deploy-clients, but I don't see it in the Deployment Monitor,
