light weight forwarder

Do you have an RPM available for the light weight forwarder? We are looking to deploy these on other production boxes and don't want to install all of the other files associated with Splunk. Bottom line, we are trying to minimize the amount of code we install to use Splunk.

Careful with the terminology here. You may want to take a look at:
Types of Splunk Forwarders

A Lightweight forwarder is a full Splunk installation, with the SplunkLightForwarder app enabled (which disables things like parsing and indexing). You may mean the Universal Forwarder, which is the lightest of the Splunk installs available. You can find the RPMs here:
