Deployment Architecture

What resources are needed for licence server and deployment server on one host?

I would like to use a single VM to host a SPLUNK license master and deployment server. Can one instances of SPLUNK on the VM act as both the license server/master and the deployment server? Do both license manager and deployment server use port 8089? What resources (CPU, RAM, Disk) for this type of setup?

I run them this way with 2 vCPU & 4Gig RAM. Never have a problem.

I am using a single instance Deployment server/License master (AWS server in cloud). Since its a single instance configured to perform two jobs, they use same management port. Mine is very low configuration and works just fine.

CPU - 1 Core, 1.7 GHz
RAM - 4 GB
HDD - 100 GB (never utilized fully so can be downgraded)

See if this helps.
