What kind of access role is required to run reload deploy-server?

Hi

/opt/splunk/bin/splunk reload deploy-server -class classname

While i am trying to reload deploy-server, i am getting "enter username/pwd to authenticate."

And when i am giving my username/pwd it says "you are not authenticated."

Can you please tell me what kind of access role is required to get authenticated while performing this activity?

You need admin role to do that

in the stanza [serverClass:AppsByMachineType] from serverclass.conf

1. Ensure this server class is matched by all clients because if not for you, you can't authentificated. It is IMPORTANT to have a general filter here, and a more specific filter
2. At the app level. An app is matched only if the server class it is contained in was successfully matched! whitelist.0=*.
