Splunk TA Sharepoint error messages

This is a distributed deployment with a search head cluster and index cluster. The Splunk_TA_Microsoft_Sharepoint addon has been installed on Indexers, Search Heads and a Heavy Forwarder which gathers the data.

We are seeing "Unable to initialize modular input "sp13inventory" defined inside the app "TA_Microsoft-Sharepoint": Unable to locate suitable script for introspection" errors on the Search Heads.

We have removed inputs.conf from the Search Heads, but the error persists. The only reference to sp13inventory is in inputs.conf in default.old directories.

$SPLUNK_HOME\bin\splunk btool list inputs --debug | grep sp13inventory finds nothing.

ANyone have any ideas how to get rid of the errors ?

This is cause from TA_Microsoft-Sharepoint/README/inputs.conf.spec. You should rename inputs.conf.spec to other name, such as inputs.conf.spec.X then restart splunkd
