Please edit your question above and provide more detail. You have not given us sufficient information to be of much help.

For example:

  • When did the reboots begin?
  • How frequently do they occur?
  • What has changed on the system since it last worked?
  • Do you have any system logs?
  • What version of Splunk are you running?

What follows is very, very general. Without more information, there's not much else to be said.

The usual starting point for this type of error (especialy assuming it's rebooting due to a blue-screen) is the System log in the Windows Event Log. Look for Error events - if you're lucky, you'll find an event containing some numbers like:

STOP: 0x0000007B (0xEC22784C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

If you can actually see it reboot, and you get a blue screen, the numbers will be there also.

Look for such an event, and post that information here (or better yet, do some Google research)

Are they running Splunk? Is Splunk rebooting or the server?
