Hi!

I would like to ask question regarding to the network topology for distributed searching.
Do you usually set up a different LAN for the replication process?

Thanks,
Yu

Not really. Distribution is performed in a pure unicast client-server fashion. We have search peers on sites all over the place, and it works just fine.
