If Deployment Server is updated will that affect configuration of specific client?

Hi

one app say ABC is deployed on 9 clients through DS Now, we went to one specific client and added some configuration in app/local input.conf file my question is that if in future anything happens like upgrade or something in that app through DS then my defined configuration in that specific client will be remained or replaced.
