How to load balance search head cluster using Netscaler?

Hi,

We want to Load balance search heads using Netscaler LB. Search head are setup using SSL. We are seeing handshake failure in Nescaler. Does splunk supports all the Cipher suit ? Is there any documentation for Netscaler and splunk LB setup.

Some version of netscaler doesnt support the same high security cipher suites that ship as defaults for splunk now.

You'll want to reduce your cipher suite security settings on splunk search heads, OR you'll need to get a patch from netscaler that allows newer TLS ciphers.
