Configure "Run a script" and push script using RES...

Deployment Architecture

I want to configure "run a script" using rest end point. I do not find any REST PI to do that apart from deprecated API of saved search. I also want to push the script on run time to splunk. Is it possible ?

Another question, By default Splunk comes up a stand alone mode. I am looking for REST API to change it to distributed mode and set the ownership and role.
