Can I specify the search head that a scheduled search is run on in a search head cluster?

I'm running clustered search heads and have a scheduled search that i would like to limit to only running on one search head. It outputs a file that i then need to send somewhere else, and i'd like to avoid having the script that sends it running on every search head.

Is there a way to specify/limit which search head a scheduled search can run on?

can you write the output to a shared volume mounted to all SHC members?
can you write the output to a local dir on the SHC members and run a cron job to copy the output file to a destination? This involves a 1 min delay, assuming it is a 5-star cronjob.

additional question:
is there the concept of job server in SHC?
