Well, I have not faced this situation yet but would like to know how to achieve this.
Let's say, we have an application that publishes a dashboard for which the data is originated from splunk. Now, if I change any custom field e.g. timeline of the dashboard on my application, it would send a request to splunk and the updated resultset would be shown on the dashboard of my application.
However, I do not want to go out of my application and show a splunk dashboard directly on my application, only I'm interested in pulling the data from splunk and showing that on my dashboard.
