When I select the menu for host I can't see the option of edit the tag. How can I edit the tag? Can I do it by SplunkWeb?
Editing tags is a function that is limited to users associated with the Admin and Power roles. Reference: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/5.0/Security/Aboutusersandroles Can you confirm that you are signed in as user that is associated with one of these two roles?

If the tag is already created, you can select Settings --> Tags, then Clone the tag. Next update the field value or search and then save. Finally delete the existing tag
