Hi rakesh_498115,
use "float : left ; " in your CSS file !!

for example,
to make the time-range picker and drop-down in the same line you cab use if they are in mainSearchControls layout panel then ,

.mainSearchControls .SearchSelectLister,
.mainSearchControls .TimeRangePicker {
    float: left;
}

will do what you want.

The CSS file referenced here, would typically mean "application.css" located in "$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/<yourApp>/appserver/static/"

Although this would help put them on one line, you should also use margins, paddings and widths, as depending on you inputs, they will not all be the same size, some form inputs may not require as much space as others, etc. ... hence my link 🙂
