Hi,

I have upgraded my Splunk 5 to Splunk 6. I want to add a time range picker in my dashboard which shall be applied to all the panels in the dashboard. Please help.

Open the dashboard.

Click "Edit" and choose "Edit Panels"

Click "Add Time Range Picker" and add one.

The timerange picker only affects inline searches, so edit each dashboard panel. Under the "Search Report" for each panel, you will find "Clone to Inline Search" - do this for each panel.

Done!

did this change in 6.2?

I'm following all the way through to "edit each dashboard panel..." but I can't find a "Search Report" anywhere...

There should be a button with search symbol (magnifying glass), towards right top corner of the panel, once you're in edit mode.
