Splunk 6x Dashboard exapmples - Table Icon set (Inline)

Hi,

I replicated the Table Icon set (inline) in my own app, but the icons are not displaying.
I did not changed the js and the css file.
I also did the splunk restart.
Still i am not seeing the icons.
Any inputs to resolve is much appreciated.

Could you try to bump your server to force splunk to reload javascript files:

Go to your_server:8000/en-US/_bump and press bump then try reloading your dashboard

Did you move a copy of the js and css files to your own app as well - or just the XML?

yes, i moved a copy of js and css to my own app.

initially my app did not have appserver and static folders.
I created the appserver and then static directory within appserver directory. Then copied the js and css file from simple_xml_examples/appserver/static to /appserver/static directory.

Could you check your browser console for errors?

I checked, developer tools/Console in Internet explorer and i do not see errors.
Not sure what is going wrong here.

I checked in Chrome and i see this error,

Failed to load :8000/en-US/splunkd/__raw/servicesNS/admin/monitorjobs/static/appLogo.png resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

Also, i do not have a folder called static in my app - monitorjobs.
It is strange that i see this error.

I ran the Table Icon set (Inline) report in splunk dashboard examples app as well, and i see the same error.
But i can see the icons in the report.

appLogo.png:1 GET :8000/en-US/splunkd/__raw/servicesNS/admin/simple_xml_examples/static/appLogo.png 404 (Not Found)

So i assume this is not an error on my app 'Monitorjobs'
