Scheduled dashboard jobs complete, but PDF is not created

Hiya,

I cannot get the scheduled PDF delivery of a dashboard with 6 panels to work.
The dashboard works when interactively run, but the scheduled run is failing for some reason. The panels search jobs run until 100% completion and find actual data, but afterwards no PDF is generated nor sent.

Plus, if I check the activity I can see the jobs running, both the main one and its children aka each panel's search. After their completion, they don't appear in the activity job anymore.

The python.log shows this:

2013-12-11 15:49:17,378 +0000 ERROR pdfgen_endpoint:210 - Exception raised while trying to prepare "Mobile devices overview" for rendering to PDF. [HTTP 401] Client is not authenticated
2013-12-11 15:49:17,379 +0000 ERROR pdfgen_endpoint:210 - Exception raised while trying to prepare "Mobile devices overview" for rendering to PDF. No search job available for view that requires search job
2013-12-11 15:49:17,379 +0000 ERROR pdfgen_endpoint:216 - No views prepared without exceptions. Bailing out of Integrated PDF Generation.

Would love some hint to point me in the right direction.
Cheers

Have you checked audit and scheduler logs and see if there any errors related to the jobs or saved searches?
The python.log messages could be red herrings especially if the Mobile message is not relevant and it also does not work on any other devices.
