PDF report server and advanced xml dashboards

Hi,

I need to schedule PDF Reports for both forms and advanced dashboards. I've installed PDF report server on Linux and I can now schedule delivery of forms. But I have two problems...

• "Schedule PDF Delivery" is still greyed out on my advanced dashboards. I thought that PDF report server could schedule delivery of advanced XML dashboards? Is there something else I need to do to enable this?
• Unless my forms load very quickly (in a few seconds) the schedules reports always just show "waiting for data". It works if I can get the data to load in 2 or 3 seconds but not otherwise.

Can anyone help please?

This is no longer supported in 6.2.* . Splunk we need this capability back!

The Schedule PDF Delivery option is greyed out if the search used to generate reports is not set to run automatically (autoRun attribute needs to be set as True in the xml file)

Have you tried updating the SPLUNKD_CONNECTION_TIMEOUT values per the below splunk answers post?
