Navigation xml stripping attributes from link

andywins
Explorer

I'm finding any attribute besides "href" is stripped when navigation xml->html is rendered. For example:

<collection label="test">
    <a href="http://www.google.com" target="_blank">Link to google</a>
</collection>

In this example, "target" will be stripped from the resulting html. Any idea how to get around this?

Default behaviour of navigation xml doesn't support target field. There are workaround by making changes to application.js file for your app. See below post for more details.
