Linking Dashboards

RNB
Path Finder

I would like to add a link to a chart in a dashboard to another dashboard.

Example: I have two user groups going through a firewall. I have high level dashboard with 4 charts that show passed traffic and denied traffic for the two user groups. On the chart showing passed traffic to Group A, I would like to link to a detailed dashboard. On this dashboard I would have four charts showing passed traffic for App1, App2, App3 and App4. On the detailed dashboard, I would like a link back to the high level dashboard.

Is this possible, or is this a feature request?
Thank you

This is possible, but requires fairly extensive expertise in Advanced XML, or in SideView.

Well it's certainly a great deal easier with Sideview. Download Sideview Utils from Splunkbase and check out the embedded docs around 'linking'. I don't have an example specifically about linking drilldowns from charts but the table example is very similar. Or you can feel free to post the XML or email me and I'll show you.
