How to use a saved search to populate a dashboard dropdown list?

Trying to figure out how to use a saved search to populate a dashboard dropdown list.

When editing with Splunk Web, in Dynamic Options there are Inline Search and Report buttons. The Inline Search pop-ups a box to fill in a search string, but the report button does not give anything to fill in the saved search/report name. Running 6.5.0 Enterprise. How to add the saved search to populate the list?

Sorted out already.

It was not an access rights problem, but a scheduled saves search, with obviously the first save missing... The schedule was once per month and there were no initial run of the report done yet. So it did not show up when I was editing the input dropdown list via GUI right after saving and scheduling the search. So had to manually run the saved search once after scheduling. Then the saved search showed up.

Report button should list Reports saved with correct permissions. Can you check access on your saved report?
This should also work in 6.5.

When you click on report, you should see a dropdown with list of all reports. If you don't see that, you could try using | loadjob in the search box for inline search to populate your dropdown
