How to hide a dashboard panel in HTML?

I have a dashboard coded in HTML that is basically just a large table. I wanted to see if there was a way to hide another table or panel and only make it appear in a popup when you click on a certain spot on the other large table that is already there.

@kdimaria, I am not sure if it fits but have you tried Table Row Expansion example on Splunk Dashboard Examples App?
