Hi,
i have a panel with a search like :

index=myindex
|dedup myID
|eval link ="\\\myshare\\".myID
|table _time IP myID link

On Windows OS (Internet Explorer),it's possible to drilldown on link cell table and redirect to local share path ?
I know that on IE browser writing something like "file://path" it works and open a new system window.

Thanks

Hi Marco,
eventually try to implement, in drilldown stanza of xml source code, a condition field or calculate a token.

Hope this helps!

Hi Marco,

You can try to set some field to show you the "file://path" and the use CDATA to make a drilldown link

<drilldown>

      $click.value$

</drilldown>

More info on drill downs from docs:
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/7.3.1/Viz/DrilldownLinkToURL

And the CDATA part:
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/7.3.1/Viz/OverviewofSimplifiedXML

Hope this helps!

Hope I was able to help you. If so, some karma would be appreciated.

Thank you diogofgm for your reply, but it doesn't work.

After drilldown Splunk put "http://IP_Server:Port/en-US/app/Appname/" before "file://path" .

The result is page not found.
