How to create a timeline using a lookup?

I am attempting to use the Splunkbase timeline visualization.

I am trying to create a timeline where:

Y axis  is the months (Jan - Dec)

x axis is the days of the month (1-31)

need to display the date a patch comes out, the days we are testing the patch, and when we roll it out to company.

I have never done a timeline in splunk and could use some help.

Thank to the community in advance!

If anyone has suggestions on other ways I could visualize this without using timeline, that would be great as well.

I haven't done timeline myself but there seems to be an app for this kind of visualization.

Hi Pickle Rick,

yes that is the app I am trying to use. I am just having trouble getting the data displayed the way I mentioned above.
