See the “Build dashboards in Splunk Web” information in our Splunk Enterprise documentation. The majority of information applies to Splunk Light and will provide you with steps for creating dashboards. Note there are some Splunk Enterprise dashboard features that are not available in Splunk Light, such as the pivot feature, but most of the information applies to Splunk Light:
