How to add style to panel titles in my dashboard?

I have 8 panels in my dashboard. I would like to add background color in each of the panel's title section. That's it.

Can anyone share .css file, and illustrate how in the dashboard the block for, will be altered with the new CSS to add a basic background color?

@brdr, you can try to add following hidden <row> to apply generic CSS selector override for Dashboard Panel Titles.

Good day I tried repeating the example for the Splunk's _internal index CSS. I created an empty dashboard, and copied the code supplied. The dashboard is generated, but with all default Splunk styling. We are running Version:7.3.3. 

I tested CSS override on other dashboards as well, and nothing worked. Any reason why this would not work?

Regards

UPDATE: If I convert the dashboard to HTML the CSS styling is applied. However this is not ideal, since I would like to make use of the tools available for SimpleXML.

@BernardEAI  this is a known issue with 7.3.3 with some workaround documented in the following answer: https://community.splunk.com/t5/Dashboards-Visualizations/How-to-include-CSS-in-Dashboards-with-the-...

Also, ideally after testing CSS Style you should try to migrate the same from XML to a CSS static file.
