How to add addtional HTTP headers to all requests using Splunk Python SDK

To get past a load-balancer in front of the search heads I need to be able to add an HTTP header to every request.

There would not appear to be a way to do this without modifying the source code for the library. This is not really an option I want to pursue.

Am I overlooking a way to get additional HTTP headers sent using the SDK library? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Dan Ehrlich
