Hide version history

Hi! I am using version 9.4.3 and am trying to switch from my classic dashboards to Dashboard Studio, but I am unable to hide the version history and the “Inspect” button from users who only have read permissions. Is it possible to do this?

thanx a lot

Hi @gmalandra

From what I can find, there isnt a capability that drives the access to the version history of a dashboard studio dashboard - essentially if someone has read access to the dashboard then they also have read access to its historical changes too.

Thanks for your reply! So it's not even possible to hide the inspect or clone button via XML code customization, as is possible on the classic dashboard?

@gmalandra

Looks like UI elements like Inspect and Clone are hardcoded into the interface for users with read access in Dashboard Studio. So I dont think it's possible with dasboard studio.
