Filter hosts in

hi,
i would like to filter windows and linux hosts in my app using populatingsearch tag. all windows hosts' name starts with sq9 and linux with CARD. can anybody tell me the logic to filter these hosts in tag??

@Iguinn: Thanks for helping me out but im am looking for the regex expression to differentiate between two name like SA8DABCDR01 and CARDS_A8D_ABC...
