After setting up HTTP Event Collector, why am I getting browser error "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404"?

Team,

On home screen of the Splunk Search and Reporting app, I'm getting the browser error:

en-US/splunkd/__raw/servi…nobody/search/search/jobs/rt_1470673676.7?output_mode=json&_=1470673910548 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

After setting up the HTTP Event Collector, when trying to modify the token, the HEC admin screen isn't coming up. The browser javascript error:

****/en-US/splunkd/__raw/services/data/inputs/http/http?output_mode=json&_=1470675101063 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry folks, my bad. The issue is because of a [Http] stanza added to the inputs.conf that is blocking the HEC admin screen.
