Calling All Security Pros: Ready to Race Through Boston?

Hey Splunkers,

.conf25 is heading to Boston and we’re kicking things off with something bold, competitive, and uniquely Splunky.

We’re looking for Security Practitioners to take part in a filmed, Amazing Race-meets-Capture-the-Flag-style showdown in the days leading up to .conf. Two teams of Splunk customers will decode clues, solve cyber-themed challenges, and dash through some of Boston’s most iconic landmarks all for a chance to win a $10K donation to charity.

Oh yeah… did I mention it’s all going to be captured on camera and premiered during the .conf25 Global Broadcast?

This isn’t your typical security competition. It’s part race, part puzzle, and 100% Splunk. Whether you're in it for the fun, the visibility, or just a cool story to tell your co-workers, we want to hear from you.

• You'd be required to fly into Boston on Thursday September 4
• Filming will take place on that Friday and or Saturday
• Splunk can cover reasonable travel and accommodation expenses and .conf passes for those not attending

While it was only posted here once, it was also shared in the Slack Community a few times. 

If you were not aware, you can 'subscribe' to the blog to get an email/community notification anytime new content is posted. 

This can also be done for specific Labels or as a whole. 

Alternatively, you can just be sure to frequent this space for fresh new content 🙂

@R15 information moves fast there and can be hard to keep up! Sorry you missed this. I heard we may be trying to do more of these types of things. So keep an eye out on Slack Announcements or even this blog.
