Search has results but the returns no results when saved as a panel.

There is a large index that we are searching that does return results in Search & Reporting but when the search is saved into a dashboard, the panel says no results. When the search is run from the panel onto another tab, it does return results. The version is 6.6.0.
There is no base search or tstats being run in this search.

EDIT 1:
The search looks about like:
index=veryLargeIndex fieldA=A fieldB=B
| eval AB= A "+" B
| stats count by AB

I did not receive any syntax errors when I ran the search. Also, I had the same permissions when I viewed the dashboard as when I viewed it in a separate search.

My first guess would be that the dashboard is perhaps configured to run under a specific account which does not have access to the data? While you yourself (or whoever came across this situation) does have access.
