Open sourcing Splunk's JIRA product management application

I read a blog post on the Splunk blog from Christina Noren called, "PCAMP preso on automating product management with Jira". The post was from 2008 but stated you were planning on open sourcing your JIRA product management application. Have you decided to do that?, if so I'm very interested in speaking with someone about it!

Thanks

We're now actively looking at using JIRA for a product management tool...it's already in use heavily by development and project management. Have any decisions been made about open sourcing your JIRA product management tool?

This issue just came up again recently and we're seriously thinking about it. We've grown quickly over the past few years so we've iterated on our processes often, and we're doing so again right now.

So... I can't give a timeline but we're working on it.

Just checking back in...has there been any progress made in open sourcing your JIRA product management tool?

Thanks very much! I was hoping to hear something else buy I totally understand...

From what I read about your tools, they seem like exactly the kind of thing we're looking for...following the Pragmatic framework etc..

If you ever get to the point of releasing this, please let me know...otherwise, we'll have to develop our own, similar application! 🙂
