alerts customization

Hi,

I receive alerts by email from AppDynamics due to policy violations.

Is there a way to customize email subjects of those alerts?

Currently I get something like:

"stalled BTs Policy Violated!"

I would like the subject of the email to include info of application name and tier/server.

thanx,

Pavel.

Hi Arun,

We just wanted to customize email subject, I wouldn't create a whole custom notification for that..

(is it possible in SaaS version?).

We do get tier/node details in email body, but would like to get them in header also

(just more convenient for support people - not having to open each email when looking for something).

We can have app name as part of policy name. Adding tier/node would be more difficult though.

thank you,

Pavel.

Hi Pavel,

Currently we cannot customize the email alert content. However can you check custom notification feature and let us know whether it helps: http://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO12S/Configure+Custom+Notifications

We do show application and tier/node (affected components) details in email(refer attached sample screenshot)

Please confirm if the alerts triggered missing app/tier details?

Thanks,

Arun

Hi Pavel,

We apologize for the convenience caused here. Currently we cannot customize the email subject - which reflects the policy name.

Thanks,

Arun
