We currently use overallapplication-environment-datacenter as our application name. We then break down tiers as parts of the application, like FE web, BE web, FE api, Application servers, Task servers, etc.
We'd like to mix it up a bit and would like to hear from someone else on a better approach. We are multi datacenter including aws with dev, test, and prod environments.
I know there is no cookie cutter, but want to hear what has worked for others.
