Hi,

I am using AppDynamics Pro Trail 4.1 and I've configured Server Monitoring on Controller and MAchine agent but I am not able to see any Server Monitoring data. Below are the steps I've performed to configure Server Monitoring :

1. Installed Machine Agent on CentOS 6.2 machine.

2. Added SIM_ENABLED=true property in Admin Console for my AppDynamics user and I can see Infrastructure dashboard enabled for my user.

3. Added JAVA_OPTS=-Dappdynamics,sim.enabled=true in appdynamics-machine-agent file located in <Machine agent>/etc/sysconfig area.

4. Started Machine Agent.

I can see the machine agent status as Conneted and I can see the performance data collected by Machine Agent.

Please help me to start Server Monitoring.

Prasad

Hi Prasad,

I have tried in local and could succeed as referred in below screenshots, Can you please restart as referred in below screenshots with  -Dappdynamics.sim.enabled=true -Dappdynamics.machine.agent.maxMachineMetrics=4000 -Dappdynamics.agent.maxMetrics=4000 args in place in addition to any other jvm args and see how it goes?

We see , in jvm arg can you change from -Dappdynamics,sim.enabled=true to -Dappdynamics.sim.enabled=true as well and restart machiene agent java process

If issue persists, please send below logs:

- screenshot from controller admin UI with property added

- machine agent logs and screenshot from UI depicting the issue with no load listed under infrastructure
