How do I filter the exception list to items containing a specific substring?

Our product uses the same exception for a lot of different errors. Are there any built-in options for filtering the list to items containing a given pattern?

Hi,

We understood that you are not referring to error config to filter exceptions with particular exceptions to avoid marking BT as error as stated in doc: https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO40/Configure+Exceptions+and+Log+Messages+to+Ignore

If the above said is right and you are looking for filtering snapshots with particular exception message, check if the steps referred in below screenshots helps, try searching exception message from search box at right section as we see error filter at the middle pane only considers exception and not exception message:
