Hello, I've just signed to free trial. Unfortunately I didn't get my lic file by email.

And I can't access https://help.appdynamics.com/tickets/new neither.

The zip file you downloaded for the controller should have a license.lic file. Can you pls place that file in your controller home directory? The installer should have auto-copied if it's run in the same directory where the license.lic file currently is.

Everything what I loaded shown in attached screenshot. There is no lic file.

I can see that you started a SaaS trial first -- in this case, the license is pre-provisioned for you. All you need is to download the agents for the language you are interested in by clicking on the blue "Start Monitoring your Application" button that shows up as soon as launch your controller from the Subscriptions page. In this case, since you are using the SaaS controller, you don't need to download & install your own on-premise controller.

However, I can see that you also downloaded the on-premise controller from the download zone after signing for the SaaS trial -- as expected, you don't have a license for an on-prem controller (because you started with SaaS). If you want to switch your trial to on-premise, then please work with the AppDynamics sales rep assigned to your trial so that he can provision you an on-premise license (that you will receive via email).

Hi, 

i have the same problem. I downloaded the controller on-premises but there isnt license file in the executable archive.

Is there a way to get the license?

You don't need license via email for self-service as licenses are included automatically when you signup. Are able to login to AppDynamics.com and see your view your subscriptions page? You should see the download controller button (for on-prem) or the launch controller button (for SaaS).
