I have created a new policy with an action item of triggering a email on a specfic condition. Does creation of policy be followed with APPDynamics agent restart?
Adding more informtion. The policy is enabled but emails are not getting triggered. Should i reset the App D agent? Please advice

We confirm agent reset/restart is not required for evaluation of any health rule or policy defined in controller UI , actually HR and policies are evaluated at controller end . Can you please provide the following to get clarity of the rules referred and policy defined to assist you better:
- Screenshots in edit view of policy affected for all sub sections of policy in view
- Screenshots from health rule associated to policy with all screenshots in view
- screenshot with data in metric browser in view on which you defined HR conditions associated to affected policy
