Create a metric graph

I need to know what I need to do to populate the data when creating a metrics graph in AppDynamics. The graph is not showing on the chart.

Hi,

Are you referring Custom dashboard -> Metric widet (template)  or Graph widet 
or Load/Art graphs in Application/tier/node dashboard ?

Can you please attach relevant screenshots of the screen you are referring to, with the metric selected,
 the metric graphs will be plotted as per the load on the corresponding component (Business transactions) 
make sure you have load on the business transactions under the associated application
