Controller takes long time

I have installed appdynamics and when i started the controller it takes for ever . even after 20 minutes ,it does not show me any screen. 

More over i could not find the trail lic flle

i installed 64 bit version on windwos 8

please help me

There are many variables here. 

What is the CPU core count and RAM on your system? 

Before launching the Controller, how much RAM due you have?

What Controller version is it?

The license.lic would be in placed in your Controller home directory.

You can also attach your server.log file from the logs folder in the Controller to help others troubleshoot.
